Job description

Position: 1099 Recruiter/Sourcer 
Location: Eastern Time zone preferred 
Work Environment: Remote  
Clearance Required: None 
 
Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is seeking an exceptional high-volume Sourcer to provide support to the Talent Acquisition team. This position will be on an as-needed schedule with no guarantee of an hourly commitment. Billable hours will range from 0-20 hours a week. 

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position’s security clearance requirements.  

 The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  

  • Proactively source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for contingent government positions. 
  • Screen and assess candidates based on job requirements, clearance levels, and technical skills. 
  • Maintain an active pipeline of cleared professionals in financial, IT, and data science roles. 
  • Utilize various sourcing tools, job boards, and networking strategies to attract top talent. 
  • Coordinate with internal hiring teams to understand current and upcoming hiring needs. 
  • Ensure compliance with government contracting and security clearance requirements. 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on cleared professionals and contingent staffing. 
  • Proven experience sourcing financial specialists, high-skill IT professionals, and Data Scientists. 
  • Familiarity with security clearance levels (Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, etc.). 
  • Strong proficiency in sourcing platforms(LinkedIn, Clearedjobs, Indeed, etc.). 
  • Must have access to their own sourcing platforms – as platforms will not be provided. 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
