As the Senior Manager of Website Optimization, you will be responsible for spearheading performance and UX initiatives for Vanta.com. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven decision making and a proven track record in website testing, UX enhancements, and driving business value from the website.
The web team owns Vanta.com which serves as the primary platform for prospect engagement and brand storytelling. The work we do is integral in driving traffic, generating leads, and creating a seamless user experience that directly supports department and company goals.
This role will be key in accelerating our experimentation program, defining a personalization strategy, and supporting departmental initiatives and goals. In addition to working closely with others on the web team, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with stakeholders in growth marketing, PMM, creative, content, and others to drive measurable improvements in website performance and conversions.
What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, Website Optimization at Vanta:
Develop and own an experimentation framework that allows for speed and scale of optimization
Define and execute a comprehensive website optimization strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives
Monitor KPIs and translate data insights into actionable recommendations to boost conversion rates and user engagement. Share insights and reporting with LT on a regular basis.
Act as the primary owner of the testing and live chat tools on the site
Evaluate new tools and explore ways to leverage AI to supplement optimization work
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including product, PMM, sales, analytics and marketing ops to accomplish shared goals for Vanta
How to be successful in this role:
7+ years of experience in website optimization, or a similar role
Proven experience managing website testing programs and driving UX improvements
Experience in incorporating mixed user engagement methods to drive overall improvements (e.g. live chat, exit-intent pop-ups, promo banners, etc.)
Proficiency with website analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and testing platforms (Webflow Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, etc.)
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to collaborate closely with designers and developers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and leverage statistical best practices to make decisions on experiment results
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with little to no oversight
