The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as an Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Analyst I. In this role, you will perform tasks under general supervision that provide support in the areas of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) processes, which are typically routine or static. Some analysis work is necessary to understand end-user access requirements and resolve typical end-user issues (e.g., password resets, access issues, login issues) at a Tier 3 level. Knowledge of various IDAM processes is also required in the role, such as Request Fulfillment, Identity Governance, Privilege Access Management, role-based security, IT Compliance and Policies, Password Management, User Access Reviews, etc.
How You'll Make a Difference
Request Fulfillment – Analyze service requests and determine access needs. Provision identities and accesses across multiple platforms (ERP solutions, Directory Services, application, OS level) for both new on-boarded users and off-boarded users (terminations or suspends), along with service/system accounts. Convert user identity accounts from contingent workers to employees.
End User Support – End-user assistance on password resets, logon issues, and authorization issues.
Security Group/Role Design and Maintenance – Create new security groups/roles, configure read/write permission settings, and apply to access control points. Add new groups to request fulfillment catalog to request the access.
Monitoring – Review user account lockouts, users with excessive accesses, usage of accounts and accesses, validation of suspended accounts, employment status of end users, verification of identities, elevated accesses, unauthorized user administration, etc.
Compliance - Adherence to all compliance policies and procedures. Facilitate user access certification processes (e.g., user access reviews).
ID Management – Create and provision access to user accounts (end-users, system, service, elevated, etc.) per formalized processes. Assess access requirements and apply them accordingly.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience level
Minimum of one year of experience in Identity and Access Management
Minimum of one of technology experience, including troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of complex IT solutions
Knowledge of operating systems and security applications as well as a working knowledge of a variety of Identity and Access Management tools, such as SAP Security, SAP GRC, Active Directory, UNIX/Linux, Identity Governance apps, Single Sign-on concepts, Service Catalog tools, and
Privilege Access Management (SAP GRC and CyberArk Password Vault)
General analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective security incident and problem resolution
Team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Understanding information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST-CSF, NIST 800-53, etc.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
