Job description

Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies.  Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. L’Oréal, Staples, Mastercard, and other leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement or a complex NDA.

Ironclad is writing the narrative that shows how beautiful and functional contracting will change business. We’re a leader in the Forrester Wave for Contract Lifecycle Management. We have been recognized as a Fortune Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. Our innovation and work culture have been recognized by Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2023, Forbes’ 50 Most Promising AI Companies, Wing Venture Capital's Enterprise Tech 30, and Gartner's Magic Quadrant. We work in a highly collaborative environment, and strive to foster a positive, inclusive culture.  We’re backed by leading investors like Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia, and BOND. For more information, visit www.ironcladapp.com or follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter.

At Ironclad, our Product Marketers solve the most pressing problems for the business. As market experts, we partner with EPD to drive the product roadmap, enable our organization, and devise the strategic GTM plays that take our company to the next level. Join us, and you will have an opportunity to proactively define and lead how our company scales.

As a Director of Product Marketing, you will lead a team of Product Marketers, driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring our messaging resonates with our target audience. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our market perception, driving customer engagement, and accelerating revenue growth.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Lead a team of 4 Product Marketers who each own a specific market area — a cross section of product functionality, competitors and personas. We build expertise in these areas individually and use them as the building blocks of our broader strategy, messaging and positioning.

  • Collaborate closely with GTM to develop sales tools, enablement resources, as well as product and persona-focused collateral.

  • Focusing on team leadership, team building, mentorship, and setting goals/OKRs for a high-performing Product Marketing team.

  • Drive all product launches and ensure GTM readiness across the organization

  • Develop comprehensive launch plans that include messaging, positioning, content, sales enablement materials, and training programs to support successful product adoption.

  • Coordinate the timing and execution of product launches to ensure alignment with broader business and marketing objectives.

  • Create new ways of working such as GTM & Product Councils to align stakeholders around launches as well as facilitate feedback directly from the field.

Key Skills:
  • Experience within SaaS B2B companies - even if in other roles prior to PMM!

  • 10+ years of Product Marketing or relevant experience (at least 5 of those should be direct Product Marketing experience).

  • 3+ years of leading a team.

  • Experience crafting compelling, value-driven product messaging and positioning.

  • Technical competence (knowing the technical ins and outs of how their product works).

  • Great at simplifying complex technical concepts into compelling stories.

  • Exhibits empathy for customers & prospects; puts the buyer first in everything they do.

  • Able to think big picture and prioritize what’s most important, but also able to roll up sleeves and ship compelling work product.

  • Thrives in fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous situations; enjoys finding the right path forward.

    Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k

  • Wellness reimbursement

  • Take what you need vacation policy

  • Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
