Job Title: Technical Product Manager, Data Analytics Platform
Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our Data Analytics Platform. This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance solutions that empower business users and analysts with access to data through data lakes, query engines, reporting tools, and ad-hoc query capabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining product requirements, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with business needs to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Define Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear roadmap for the Data Analytics Platform based on business needs and technical capabilities
Gather & Prioritize Requirements: Work with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into detailed product requirements
Technical Understanding & Decision Making: Ensure the platform effectively integrates with data lakes, query engines, reporting tools, and ad-hoc query solutions to support a broad range of analytics use cases
Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering to scope projects, refine technical solutions, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Drive Adoption & Usability: Focus on improving user experience, ensuring business teams can effectively access and analyze data using the platform
Monitor Performance & Iterate: Track key metrics, gather user feedback, and continuously improve the platform to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in data analytics, business intelligence, or data platform development
Strong technical understanding of data lakes, query engines (e.g., Presto, Trino, Spark SQL), reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and ad-hoc query tools
Experience writing clear, detailed product requirements and user stories for data-intensive applications
Proven ability to work with engineering teams to develop scalable data solutions
Strong ability to communicate with business users and analysts, translating business needs into technical solutions.
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
