As a Partner Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and growing business relationships with strategic partners predominately from the financial industry including wealth management, family offices or RIAs. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Private Client Services and working closely with our private client services account managers.  The primary objective of this role is to inspire the trusted advisors to refer their clients to BlackCloak to explore personal cyber security and digital privacy solution options. 

What you will do
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with wealth management firms, focusing on becoming a trusted advisor to partners and influencing them to recommend our services to their high-net-worth clients.
  • Solution Tailoring for High-Net-Worth Clients: Collaborate with partners to understand the specific needs of their high-net-worth clients and tailor our offerings to meet these needs, ensuring the value proposition aligns with their goals and preferences.
  • Training and Education: Provide partner advisors with training, resources, and ongoing education to ensure they are well-equipped to effectively present and recommend our services to their high-net-worth clients.
  • Co-Develop Client-Facing Materials: Work with partners to develop customized, client-facing marketing materials, presentations, and solutions that help them demonstrate the value of recommending our services to their clients.
  • Build Advocacy: Cultivate strong relationships with key influencers within the wealth management firms, encouraging them to become advocates for our services and to actively recommend them to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strategic Account Management: Identify key wealth management firms and individual advisors who have high potential for recommending our services. Focus efforts on building relationships with these strategic accounts to drive client referrals.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor the success of partner recommendations by tracking referral activity, client engagement, and feedback. Use insights to refine partnership strategies and improve the quality and quantity of referrals.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Regularly provide updates and reports on partner performance, highlighting successful client recommendations and identifying areas for improvement. Offer insights to senior leadership for continuous optimization of partnership strategies.

  • What you need to be successful
  • 8+ years of account management, consulting or advisory services 
  • 2+ years experience within a firm within the financial services industry
  • Conversant on topics related to cyber security or digital privacy experience 
  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Track record of success consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to travel in non-pandemic times
  • Experience with information security and online privacy a plus
