Schedule:

  • Full-time Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Receptionist/Financial Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our dynamic dental team. Your expertise in dental software, particularly Dentrix, will be instrumental in maintaining our practice’s efficiency and financial health.   • Warmly greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive first impression and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
  • Expertly manage patient scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs using Dentrix software
  • Handle insurance verifications with precision, submit claims accurately, and conduct thorough follow-ups
  • Efficiently process accounts receivables and oversee billing operations to maintain financial stability
  • Act as a liaison between patients and insurance companies, resolving claim issues with diplomacy and persistence
  • Contribute to the practice’s financial health by assisting with bookkeeping tasks and generating insightful reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient care
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
  • Adapt to evolving practice needs and stay current with software updates and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a dental office setting within the United States
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Dentrix dental practice management software
  • In-depth knowledge of dental insurance procedures and billing practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish language proficiency is highly valued
  • Strong ability to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment
  • Exceptional level of accountability and a robust work ethic
  • Relevant experience in dental reception, insurance coordination, or office management
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced virtual environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software applications
