Job Title: Senior Credit Controller

Location: Remote (Cape Town, South Africa)

UK Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (UK time)

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their growing team. This role requires an expert in credit control and cash management, who thrives in a high-volume environment and is able to manage client relationships while meeting cash collection targets.

Take responsibility for daily credit control for key clients.
Hit cash targets while minimizing bad debt and managing cash flow forecasts.
Handle high volumes of debtor communications via phone and email.
Provide timely and accurate reporting and review client credit limits.

Requirements

2-5 years of proven experience in Credit Control.

Experience managing a £5m ledger with 150-200 accounts.

Proficiency in Xero (preferred).

A track record of successfully achieving cash collection targets and reducing debtor days.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client escalations effectively.

Skilled in statement reconciliations, cash allocations, credit notes, and invoices.

Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Proactive mindset with the ability to drive process improvements.

Experience in the recruitment industry is a plus but not required.

Knowledge of invoice factoring is an advantage.
