Job description

Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping: Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports.

Payroll Processing: Process payroll using QuickBooks Payroll, ADP, and Gusto. Ensure accurate payroll tax deductions, filings, and compliance.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, monitor budget vs. actuals, and perform variance analysis.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, prepare W-2s, 1099s, and other tax filings.

Software Utilization: Use QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and payroll systems for bookkeeping and payroll tasks.

Client Support: Communicate with clients to address bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.

Qualifications:

5+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll processing with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, ADP, and Gusto.
Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, tax filings, and compliance. (preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll software.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
