We are scaling with a regional model where the Regional Director of Sales & Distribution will oversee the entire region’s sales and distribution team. This role is crucial to our sales organization, driving the launch and expansion of Gorilla Energy in the US market. The Regional Director will be responsible for scaling sales through Direct Store Delivery (DSD) partnerships, regional chains, and independent new customers, while managing costs and ROI within aligned budgets. This position will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team on strategy, design, team and tool development, and execution. As we prime our sales efforts for a successful product launch, this role will be instrumental in establishing a strong market presence and driving our growth.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Direct hiring and management of 7-12 team members, including a Distribution Manager, Regional Account Managers, and Field Sales Representatives. 

  • Provide leadership support to the Field Sampling team. 

  • Oversee region KPIs and P&L responsibilities. 

  • Develop and implement DSD network strategy in partnership with the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), including developing regular communication cadences and processes. 

  • Support regional account team to achieve new distribution and manage regional chain customers. 

  • Lead Field Sales Representatives through CRM tool reporting, market visits, and ongoing training and development. 

  • Foster team culture and career development, identifying promotable talent. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, preferably in beverage and convenience/grocery channels. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading regional or national sales teams in beverage or snacks. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in DSD management within beverage distributors. 

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently to drive business growth. 

  • Strong belief in fostering a positive culture and teamwork. 

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). 

  • Position requires 50% travel within the region. 

 Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000 

  • Annual bonus potential of 25% of salary. 

  • Healthcare coverage through Aetna. 

  • $400/month vehicle allowance. 

  • $75/month cell phone and home office internet reimbursement. 

  • 401(k)  

  • Unlimited PTO and sick time and eight holidays.
