Job description

Measurement Associate
Hillel International
Role Overview

Want to use your data skills for good? Hillel International is seeking a passionate, data-oriented Measurement Associate to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make a real impact on Jewish student life by driving data accuracy, enhancing engagement through technology, and supporting Campus Hillels across the world. From our HEaRT system (built on Salesforce) to our annual data collection efforts, your work will help fuel strategic decisions that shape the future of Hillel’s initiatives and the experiences of over 150+ Campus Hillels.

This fully remote role (preference will be given to those in the eastern/central time zone) offers a chance to use your tech-savviness to support one of the most exciting organizations in the Jewish world. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy troubleshooting, and want to leverage data for meaningful change, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Provide HEaRT System Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HEaRT users, responding to inquiries via the HEaRT hotline and case management system. Troubleshoot issues, guide users through solutions and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Champion Data Integrity: You'll own data hygiene tasks that keep our system accurate. With your meticulous attention to detail, you’ll identify and fix inconsistencies, ensuring that data across HEaRT is spot-on and reliable.
  • Manage User Access & Permissions: Oversee user roles and permissions in Salesforce, ensuring seamless access for field professionals. Plus, you'll help onboard new users and manage offboarding with ease.
  • Create User-Friendly Training Resources: Develop instructional materials, FAQs, and best practices that make it easy for users to navigate HEaRT. You’ll also help organize and lead monthly training sessions to help users get the most out of the platform.
  • Support Annual Data Collection: Play a key role in Hillel’s annual measurement process by supporting the collection and validation of student engagement and financial as well as fundraising data from 150+ Campus Hillels. You’ll follow up with Hillels, answer questions, and address discrepancies.
  • Analyze Data & Discover Insights: Work with the team to analyze engagement and fundraising trends. Your insights will help Hillel leadership, funders, and campus professionals make data-informed decisions.
  • Track Key Metrics & Boost System Performance: Monitor HEaRT’s performance and user engagement, offering feedback to improve the system and make it even more user-friendly.
  • Collaborate on Special Projects & Data Integration: Work closely with the Associate Director of Measurement to enhance Hillel’s data strategy, integrate HEaRT with other systems, and refine measurement processes across the board.
  • Support Daily Operations: Keep everything running smoothly by providing crucial administrative and operational support related to HEaRT and other measurement initiatives.
Who We're Looking For
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in data management, technology support, or related fields.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proven skills in:
    • Quickly adapting to new technology.
    • Managing data with precision.
    • Troubleshooting and delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Thriving both independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Bonus points (not required but a plus!):
    • Familiarity with Salesforce.
    • Experience with user training.
What You’ll Receive
  • A competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace: $46,000 - $50,000 annually.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan, life, AD&D, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, flexible spending accounts, generous vacation/sick time, and parental leave.
  • Great professional development opportunities, including mentoring and skill-building within a supportive and dynamic team.
