The Marketplace Automation Developer is a crucial member responsible for building and maintaining the automation solutions available in the Crate Marketplace. This role is focused on developing high-quality, reusable automations in our low-code environment, contributing to the growth of our automation Crate Marketplace. As an Automation Developer, you will combine technical expertise with creativity to deliver solutions that serve a wide range of MSP needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Automation Development: Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions within our low-code platform, focusing on the Crate Marketplace and strategic automations. 

• Customer Service First: Ensure that all interactions with customers, whether during the development process or post-deployment, are handled with a focus on exceptional customer service. This includes timely communication, understanding client needs, and providing clear and effective solutions. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the ROC and CS teams and customers during the scoping phase to gather requirements and ensure that the solutions are aligned with client needs. 

• Continuous Improvement: Regularly update and refine existing automations to improve functionality and address any newly identified issues. 

• Marketplace Expansion: Evaluate and recommend new automation ideas that can be developed for broader use within the Crate Marketplace. 

• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of automations to ensure they meet high standards and best practices before release. 

• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for each automation, ensuring clarity for end-users and internal teams. 

• App Development: Create and customize applications using App Builder, combining front-end web development skills with automation capabilities to build dynamic, user-friendly interfaces that leverage backend automations for data processing and functionality. 

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Professional Experience: 2-3 years of experience in automation or software development, preferably with low-code platforms. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Jinja2, and other relevant scripting languages. Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial for working with our App Builder platform. Experience with MSP tools and platforms is a plus. 

• Personal Attributes: Creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work independently. 

• Desirable Qualities: Experience in developing reusable components and a passion for innovation within automation.
