Head of Palantir Practice (Remote)

Role Summary:

As the Practice Lead for Palantir at iTmethods, you will drive the adoption and implementation of Palantir solutions, reporting directly to the CEO. This strategic role shapes the direction and execution of the Palantir practice with a dual focus:  

1. Secure, Compliant Deployments:
   Deploy and manage the Palantir platform as a secure, compliant cornerstone of iTmethods’ managed platform offerings (DevOps, AI/ML, and Cloud) and adoption services.
2. Software Delivery Transformation: Leverage Palantir as an intelligent backbone to deliver iTmethods’ expertise in streamlining software delivery, boosting developer productivity, reducing tool sprawl and costs, and enabling competitive, data-driven outcomes.  

This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and client engagement to position iTmethods as a leader in both secure Palantir implementations and transformative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Define and execute a Palantir practice strategy that integrates with iTmethods’ managed platforms, ensuring secure, compliant deployments while establishing iTmethods as the go-to leader for software delivery transformation.
• Client Engagement: Build client relationships and lead sales of Palantir services, delivering measurable improvements in platform security and software delivery efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Palantir experts, ensuring proficiency in secure deployment practices and software workflow optimization.
• Project Oversight: Manage project delivery to meet timelines and budgets, using Palantir to streamline tools and drive superior software outcomes for clients.
• Platform Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Palantir Foundry and AIP, applying updates to unify DevOps ecosystems, cut costs, and enhance competitiveness.
• Customer Guidance: Advise clients on using Palantir as an intelligent backbone, leveraging iTmethods’ integration expertise to accelerate delivery and empower developers with AI/ML-driven insights.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in consulting and 3+ years with Palantir platforms.
• Proven leadership, communication, and business development skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and leading software delivery transformations.
• Familiarity with iTmethods’ platforms or ability to adapt quickly.
• Palantir certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with secure, compliant deployments in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Preferred:

• Experience in financial, healthcare, or government sectors.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Expertise integrating Palantir with DevOps tools or in regulated industries.
• Proven success addressing enterprise software challenges like tool sprawl and inefficiency.
