Job Description:

Chart the Course

  • Lead the development and execution of the Group's strategic vision, ensuring its alignment with overall company and portfolio objectives and best practices. This involves developing comprehensive strategic plans, optimizing resource allocation, and effectively managing budgets to drive successful implementation.
  • Drive operational excellence by working with leaders to optimize processes and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Utilize strategic planning to achieve the Group targets for growth and profitability.

Ignite Team Performance and Talent Growth

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a group of companies and their leaders while fostering a culture of collaboration through best practice sharing, innovation and high achievement.
  • Execute on a strong talent management process to attract and retain talent, build strong employee engagement, develop succession plans, and develop up-and-coming talent.
  • Proactively identify current and future skill gaps within the team and develop comprehensive talent development plans in conjunction with HR Partners.
  • Forge strong relationships with leaders across the organization, becoming a trusted partner and advisor.

Drive Results

  • Lead the delivery of financial targets (including IRR, organic growth, and EBITA) for the Group. This includes defining clear performance expectations, providing insightful performance reporting, proactively managing risks and partnering with portfolio company leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the group.

Job Requirements:

Required Training and Education: High school diploma or equivalent   

Desired Training and Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; MBA or other advanced degree a plus

Certification or Licensing: Not required

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years proven experience managing senior leaders and leadership teams
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a business unit with an annual revenue of at least $10 million.
  • Global software/technology C-level experience
  • Experience overseeing multiple businesses concurrently
  • Expert knowledge and success in sales, marketing, service delivery, customer care, customer success, product, and development strategies, as well as overall strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • English proficiency skills required

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior Volaris GM or group-level strategy and integration experience, including quarter reporting and analysis
  • Additional language skills in Spanish, or others a plus

Travel Requirements:

  • 25 – 50%
  • Monthly travel is required
