Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Director of Project and Program Management    to oversee the successful program execution, with a focus on driving schedules, structure, communication, and leadership. This critical leadership role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations, Program Management Office and ensures the program’s alignment with DXC Technology’s strategic objectives. We are open to any location in United States.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership for the program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving program-level outcomes through cross-functional collaboration and oversight.
  • Define, implement, and monitor program schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Manage resources and dependencies across teams to ensure program success.

2. Program Oversight

  • Oversee all aspects of the program, focusing on structured execution and delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate detailed program plans and schedules, managing resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to maintain program momentum and success.

3. Operational Efficiency

  • Implement and refine operational processes to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Leverage analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement in program workflows.
  • Report on key performance metrics, aligning progress with organizational goals.

4. Stakeholder Coordination and Communication

  • Act as the central point of contact for the program, ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Present detailed program updates, status reports, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to drive program success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management or operations roles, preferably in the technology or IT services industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex schedules and structured workflows.
  • Experience with AI-driven or automation initiatives, or a strong interest in leveraging these technologies for operational and program improvements.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to act as a liaison with external partners and agencies.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, MS Project).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of precision.
