Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Delivery Lead to drive our Cloud Infrastructure Transformation Services. The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of IT infrastructure management experience, with a proven track record of building highly available and scalable systems, leading high-performing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, and successfully delivering complex cloud transformation projects. This role requires deep expertise in modern cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure environments. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, fostering strong client relationships, and driving continuous improvement in our service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery & Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Cloud Infrastructure Transformation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Develop and manage project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
    • Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project execution and ensure alignment with client expectations.
    • Oversee production readiness and deployment of change requests, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Lead and mentor a team of SRE engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Manage team budgets and resources, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Drive knowledge retention, certifications, and skill development across the team.
    • Manage attrition and ensure proper resource management.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, ensuring clear and effective communication.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and client representatives to address issues, drive product enhancements, and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Participate in presales activities, including solution design, client presentations, and technical proposal creation.
  • Technical Leadership & Innovation:
    • Drive the implementation of DevOps practices and automation workflows to streamline CI/CD processes.
    • Utilize expertise in AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and other modern technologies to build and manage scalable infrastructure.
    • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure proactive system health monitoring and incident management.
    • Design and implement automation tools, including RPA, to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
    • Translate problem statements into well-documented, actionable designs.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure the stability and optimal performance of production environments.
    • Oversee Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet business expectations.
    • Implement and maintain robust incident management and problem resolution processes.
    • Manage Cost and Quality of deliverables.




Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on cloud transformation and SRE.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and other modern cloud technologies.
  • Proven expertise in implementing DevOps practices and automation workflows.
  • Strong background in monitoring and alerting solutions (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, SQL, and Unix.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience with presales activities.
  • Experience with Kafka.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
