Data Engineer

PARADISE ARCHITECTURAL PANELS AND STEEL is a Florida based company that brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the field of architectural panels, metals, and structural steelwork.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data architectures, and supporting analytical and operational needs across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to acquire and transform large volumes of data.

- Collaborate with data architects and data scientists to design and implement efficient data models and pipelines.

- Optimize data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and quality across data sources.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across all data operations.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to data systems and processes.

- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with big data technologies

- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
