Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is searching for a Contracts Coordinator to join our team 20 hours per week!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with business team members to negotiate contract terms with vendors
  • Negotiate product and services agreements and, potentially, NDAs, software license agreements, government contracts, consulting agreements, group purchasing agreements
  • Communicate effectively with the legal department and other employees and propose improvements and solutions on various concerns, issues, and projects
  • Facilitate conversations with subject matter experts as part of contract negotiations
  • Be able to handle multiple matters simultaneously; and other duties, projects, and assignments
  • Develop an understanding of the IT Administration department processes, procedures, and operations (and be willing to suggest alternatives to improve the same)

You Must Have:

  • Proficient ability working in and utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of software, as well as, a willingness to learn new software systems
  • Ability to quickly develop and maintain relationships and rapport with business owners and cross-functional employees that help facilitate transactions and initiatives
  • Use communication and diplomacy skills required to direct, persuade, and influence business team members as well as client representatives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Operate in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision on critical enterprise projects

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Transactional expertise in working directly with business team members, as well as other cross functional departments
  • Rational judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Research and investigatory skills necessary to evaluate and identify issues and propose solutions
  • 1+ years of demonstrated work experience negotiating commercial contracts

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
