Job description

Project/Client: GPS Monitoring Solutions
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
We can consider two options: Remote or Hybrid (Office 3 times per week. It is not far from Šnipiškės)
Start Date: Mid-April 2025
Duration: Until December 2025

Role Overview:

We are looking for Mid-Level Python Developer to join a GPS monitoring solutions project. The role involves designing system architecture, developing software, automating deployments, and ensuring system stability through monitoring and performance analysis.

Must-Have Requirements:

Proficiency in Python 3
Experience with asynchronous frameworks (Aiohttp, FastAPI, Tornado)
Strong understanding of RESTful API principles
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and ArgoCD for deployment automation

Nice to Have:

Experience with asynchronous libraries and unit testing
Knowledge of NoSQL and NewSQL databases
Background in big data and statistical data processing (time-series data)
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, SAML, LDAP)
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana stack)
