Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Global Product & Marketing Associate Manager to join the SureSmile team. This role combines product marketing experience with hands-on execution, leveraging industry insights, competitive analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful global product solutions in a growing market.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expertise & Analysis: Serve as a subject matter expert in industry dynamics, competitive offerings, pricing, features, benefits, and distribution. Regularly monitor market trends through data analytics, field visits, and trade events.
- Planning: Support the development of product and marketing strategies, roadmaps, and business cases to maximize revenue and margin growth. Conduct financial analyses to quantify the impact of strategic alternatives.
- Product Management & New Product Development: Manage the full product lifecycle of assigned products, including ideation, development, launch, growth, and end-of-life strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product features, benefits, and positioning aligned with customer needs and business objectives, conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, develop business cases and financial analysis, track and analyze product and customer performance, gather customer and market feedback to inform innovation opportunities and enhancements.
- Global Product & Marketing Launches: Drive the creation of global marketing toolkits for new product and marketing launches that support product launches and commercialization, including managing agencies, budgets, and project timelines. Collaborate with global country managers and cross-functional teams to execute launch plans and track competition.
- Brand Management Responsibilities: Ensure brand messaging, tone, and visuals are consistent across all channels and align with business objectives. Manage brand guidelines to ensure adherence by internal teams and external partners. Drive customer-focused brand initiatives that enhance loyalty and increase brand recognition.
- Marketing Execution: Create and update marketing collateral, branding, product messaging, and digital content aligned with the value proposition. Manage global website content updates and track global website performance metrics.
- Social Media: Responsible for supporting Brand social channel, content and adhere to approval processes. Coordinate with internal product experts to create and implement a social media content that aligns with Brand or assigned project initiatives. Ability to create and update imagery and video as necessary through Adobe and Canva.
- Operational Support: Responsible for marketing and claims components of approval process and tracking for assigned projects. Coordinate tools and communications and the copy approval process to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Customer Insights & Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers to gather insights, maintain leadership, and drive innovation. Identify and address knowledge gaps through marketing research and analytics. Manage marketing assets and information for internal knowledge base.
- End-to-End Project Management: Manage existing portfolio product, new product introductions for assigned category, and end-of-life strategies, including marketing deliverables like instructions for use and packaging and all launch plans and execution globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global internal teams, agencies, and vendors to influence product development and marketing initiatives.
- Data & Budget Management: Build and maintain databases, monitor marketing budgets, and ensure proper documentation for spend tracking.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of product marketing experience.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively across global teams, with a solid understanding of project management principles such as developing timelines, setting milestones, and tracking progress.
- Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization and with external partners to drive collaborative, win-win solutions.
- Financial Acumen: Familiarity with financial terminology and the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate or advanced level.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with an emphasis on clarity and impact.
- Travel: Ability to travel globally (~25%).
