Key Responsibilities:
- Address technical issues promptly to ensure quick service restoration or proper escalation
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for various devices, including:
- Computers
- Printers
- Mobile devices
- Video conferencing equipment
- Peripherals
- Provide remote technical assistance and diagnostics when necessary
- Develop documentation for the knowledgebase
- Deploy software within centralized desktop management systems for Windows and Macintosh operating systems
- Proactively support the day-to-day security of the desktop environment, including:
- Desktop operating systems
- Firewalls
- Antivirus software
- Software patching
- Support the file services environment by:
- Managing permissions
- Overseeing space utilization
- Consulting on file service needs
- Act as a resource specialist by providing training, delegating, and reviewing work for tier 1 staff

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
- Associate's degree concentration in computer related course work
- Two (2) years working in IT desktop support center with demonstrated experience with problem/incident identification and resolution
- Experience with PC configuration and security, security patching
- Directory and permissions settings and administration experience
- Experience using desktop support troubleshooting tools
- Advanced computing and mobile device knowledge, hardware troubleshooting and repair
- In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience
Skills Needed:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team building skills
- Ability to:
- convey complex technical information to non-technical individuals at all levels
- recognize problem areas and propose necessary changes
- mediate between technical groups to obtain timely resolutions
- work well under pressure, facilitate solutions and meet deadlines and milestones
