About the Role

Abnormal Security is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, Marketing to join our FP&A team. This role will act as a key financial partner to the Marketing team, driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize marketing investments and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background in FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting, with expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business partnership.

What You Will Do

Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for marketing headcount and operational expenses, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Develop scenario-based financial models to assess marketing investments, ROI, and performance trends.
Establish and track key KPIs, including cost per lead, pipeline contribution, and marketing efficiency, to drive data-backed decisions.
Partner with Marketing Operations and Strategy & Analytics teams to align financial plans with GTM initiatives and revenue growth strategies.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including the CFO, and GTM leaders.
Leverage AI, automation, and analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and financial reporting.
Identify cost optimization opportunities and support strategic resource allocation.

Must Haves

5+ years FP&A experience, including 1+ year in GTM Finance or 2+ years in IB, PE, or Consulting.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning skills.
Experience partnering with marketing or GTM teams to support business growth.
Proven ability to influence senior executives through clear, data-backed recommendations.
Familiarity with AI, automation, and financial analytics tools to drive efficiency.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Base salary range:

$114,000—$135,000 USD
