Location: Remote 100% - fully remote

We are seeking a Full-Time VA Legal Recruiter/ HR Assistant with an emphasis on recruiting to join our team. Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Legal Recruiter to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Legal Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top legal talent in various positions in the United States, Mexico, LATAM and Globally. You will work closely with the Hiring Manager to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Write and post job descriptions.  Source, screen, and conduct initial interview candidates for legal positions, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff, marketing and media roles
    • Coordinate with Human Resource leadership to forecast future hiring needs
  •  Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions. 
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
  • Candidate Management: Guide candidates through the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
    Assist with the preparation of job offers and employment contracts. 

    Follow up with candidates for completion of pre-hire steps (assessments, requesting documents, communicate 1st day details, etc).
  • Networking: Headhunting and sourcing candidates
  • Recruitment Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in our recruitment database. Provide general administrative support to the HR team.  Assist with Onboarding duties.

Qualifications:

  • Native English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of Hiring in USA Markets and Global Markets including LATAM.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in legal recruitment or a similar role within the legal industry. 
  • Strong understanding of legal roles, responsibilities, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
