Tax Manager Role

The firm is seeking an experienced U.S. Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance and accounting functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to support a diverse client base effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate tax compliance and preparation for S corporations, partnerships, and individual clients.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring top-tier service and financial guidance.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Stay updated on U.S. tax laws and industry best practices to optimize tax strategies.
  • Utilize modern accounting and tax software to improve workflow and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a U.S. Tax Manager
✔ Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws, accounting principles, and compliance
✔ Ability to meet deadlines and manage complex tax filings
✔ Exceptional client relationship management skills
Leadership experience in managing teams or projects
✔ High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
✔ Proficiency in S corporation and individual tax filings
Advanced Excel skills for tax planning and financial analysis

Preferred Skills & Experience

➕ Experience with Adobe PDF/Acrobat
➕ Proficiency in QuickBooks
➕ Familiarity with real estate taxation
➕ Experience using Gusto for payroll processing
➕ Knowledge of Canopy for tax practice management
➕ Experience with ProConnect Tax Software
