We are looking for a Fusion Device Systems Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client in Munich, Germany. Please be aware that this is a fully remote position.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Lead the systems engineering efforts for the stellarator power plant, including defining system requirements, developing system architectures, validation and verification, and managing system interfaces;
Definition of a systems engineering framework for Gauss Fusion;
Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to ensure integration and compatibility of subsystems;
Develop and maintain system documentation, including specifications, design documents, interface control documents;
Implement system-level testing and verification to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications;
Ensure proper QA and data processes are developed to support and streamline the eventual licensing of the fusion power plant.
