The inriver Sales Engineering Team
We’re growing! And looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in support of our growth in the UK market. Together with a wider sales team, Inriver Sales Engineers engage with customers to learn about their business challenges, and then use their knowledge and passion to paint an exciting vision of how Inriver can help. We’re looking for a determined, independent worker who pays close attention to detail, likes to have fun and be a part of the team.

The role includes: 

  • Strategize with Sales and Partners, and provide technical support for sales opportunities
  • Lead the technical and functional discovery of customer/prospect needs
  • Maintain and deliver product demonstrations, experiences, and videos to showcase how inriver can address customer/prospect business needs.
  • Persuasively articulate the Inriver value proposition, vision, and strategy to prospective customers
  • Work with Partners to create joint value propositions
  • Be fluent in competitive positioning and be effective in differentiating Inriver
  • Present to a variety of audiences including executives, partners, and colleagues
  • Establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
  • Support field marketing needs such as staffing booths at conferences or delivering webinars
  • Provide feedback from the field into marketing, product, and customer success teams
  • Become the trusted advisor to our customers, prospects, and partners

You’re probably a match if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a consultant or senior sales engineer
  • BS/BA in technology or equivalent experience required
  • Deep knowledge within the PIM/DAM/MDM/Digital Marketing domain
  • Previous experience in selling SaaS
  • Proven experience selling and/or implementing Enterprise software, e-commerce, CMS and/or search- and merchandising engines
  • Comfortable delivering consultative presentations to C-level business executives, as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a business and technical audiences.
  • Expert knowledge of information integration and information logistics
  • Experience in demo-methodologies like Great Demo! and Demo2Win
  • Based in the UK & Fluent in English
