Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Officer to manage payroll processing, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with business processes and reporting requirements. This role involves handling payroll data entry, verifying timesheets, processing employee changes, and managing error resolution to maintain data integrity. The ideal candidate will coordinate with HR and accounting teams, process quarterly payments, and oversee system updates to ensure smooth payroll operations.

  • Day Shift in PH Time


In this position, you will be:


  • Maintain and manage payroll systems, ensuring accurate processing of employee payments.
  • Enter, update, and verify employee payroll data in coordination with HR.
  • Oversee timekeeping, review timesheets, and liaise with Operations Managers.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including leave and contract management.
  • Process quarterly lodgments for Portable Long Service Leave and Superannuation.
  • Conduct payroll error checks, generate reports, and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and business processes.
  • Assist with customer-related administrative tasks.
  • Support supplier processes and related documentation.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting department.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in timekeeping systems and payroll processing.
  • Background in bookkeeping or accounting with a solid understanding of payroll.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective in handling employee payroll inquiries with clear communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel (intermediate-level formulas).
