Program Overview

Performs important mission in the DOD and that is deterrence of weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons, etc. Systems Engineers/Admins, DBA's, Release Engingeers, Data Scientists, Cyber Defense, and Service Desk collaborate together to ensure comprehensive mission success

About The Role

Peraton is hiring a Customer Technical Support, Associate for USSTRATCOM/J6 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska

What you will do:

  • Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
  • Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Establishes objectives and directs staff activities to improve technical support practices in the areas of quality, knowledge centered support and resolution timeframes.
  • Drives product supportability.
  • Coordinates customer service activities with other internal functions.
  • Designs and maintains customer databases.
  • Assists users with computer hardware and/or software applications (e.g., website access, email setup, troubleshooting, etc.) for the purpose of providing immediate problem resolution.
  • In-depth applications knowledge of company's products, services and/or systems. Operations may be 24/7.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
  • Must be familiar with MS products, O365, Outlook email, basic desktop troubleshooting
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, able to work nights/weekends as needed
  • Certifications:
    • CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ certifications required within 6 months for hire.

Details

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
