As a Workday Financials Developer; You will be involved in-

You will be reporting to Manager, Software Engineering.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • You will collaborate effectively with teams in the US and India.
  • You will drive successful project delivery through effective planning, prioritization, and resource management.
  • You will champion best practices in software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Promote innovation and process improvements.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals and gaps
  • You will drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system improvements
  • Understand requirements, configuring the Workday Financials connectors and documenting, as needed
  • Participate in the change management and launch support processes of any new and modification of existing configuration
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts and end-user representatives
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met
  • Assist project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff
  • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
  • Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
  • Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
  • Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Workday Expertise 6+ years of experience as a Workday developer. Proficiency in Workday Financials
  • Must have expertise on all modules within Workday Financials Management with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues across all modules.
  • Experience with Workday Extend/Built on Workday and Workday Studio, enabling and maintaining custom developments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack for project management and communication.
  • Experience with Indirect Tax Software integrations. (ie Sovos, Avalara, Vertex).
