Apply now for the position of Field Service Engineer for Puglia, Italy, in which you will have ownership of configuring, repairing and maintaining our Linear Accelerators within Varian Business Line in Bari area. This position is an exceptional opportunity to join our Varian Service Team in achieving new victories against cancer.

Your Role

• You will develop and strengthen the customer’s face to face relationships, driving excellence while providing in-hospital and remote customer support.
• You will perform electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting to determine problems in radiotherapy equipment and provide relevant support/ repairs according to service instructions, manuals and technical bulletins.
• You will use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and modify equipment as required.
• You will work directly with our Customers onsite (Medical Physicist, Radiotherapists) as well as internally with our Customer Service Care Center and Technical Experts locally and across EMEA.
• Your role is a home-based position, with travel requirement to our Customers Sites (hospitals and clinics) at 50% of the time within designated area.
  
  

Your Expertise

• You bring several years of related experience as a Service Engineer or similar roles and/or possess knowledge and professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, test equipment used for verification/checkout and calibration of electronic equipment.
• You have basic knowledge of oscilloscope and DVM (digital voltmeter).
• You are experienced working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and can learn quickly.
• You have a technical education background such as secondary school ITIS/IPSIA and/or obtained a Degree in Electronic/Biomedical Engineering.
• You speak fluent Italian and possess a good level of English in speaking, reading and writing.
• You are located in Bari/North Puglia area.
