Job Title: iTero Training Specialist
Location: Singapore
About This Opportunity: As a Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting iTero's commercial integration by delivering product training, knowledge transfer, and clinical support within the APAC region. This role includes working closely with Align Technology's internal teams, distributor commercial organizations, and external customers, as well as facilitating the development of educational materials. You will be the main point of contact for addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting clinical issues, and providing technical assistance, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction and efficient service.
The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver high-quality education on iTero products and workflows to both internal and external stakeholders. This includes standardizing training processes across the APAC region, aligning teams on best practices, and meeting departmental KPIs.
In this role, you will…
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on iTero Intra-Oral Scanner and support the integration of related software/hardware to enable various clinical workflows, either virtually or onsite.
- Collaborate in the creation and review of educational presentations, marketing materials, digital images, and scans relevant to the IOS.
- Investigate, analyze, and address customer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues, routing them to the appropriate channels for resolution.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up for inbound and outbound inquiries.
- Evaluate training provided by distributor personnel, identify any areas for improvement, and develop additional educational resources as needed.
- Monitor trends in customer requests and issues, conduct research as needed to provide accurate responses, and share learnings with team members and management.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss performance metrics, identify challenges, and provide data-driven insights.
- Support the onboarding and development of high-potential users as iTero advocates and speakers.
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to both internal and external customers, including distributors.
- Ensure adherence to departmental and company procedures related to quality, safety, and administrative systems.
- Report any unsafe activities to supervisors or Human Resources as part of a commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental and company goals and contribute to audit processes and quality management as needed.
- Identify and nurture exceptional users to become iTero speakers, ensuring strong, positive relationships within the KOL (Key Opinion Leader) network.
In this role, you'll need …
Academic Background
- Bachelor's degree in dentistry, biomedical science, chemistry, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent experience in relevant fields will also be considered.
- Additional certifications or coursework in clinical/dental/orthodontic fields or dental hygiene is a plus.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar operational or product training role, ideally within a fast-growing international company or a related industry.
- Proven experience in customer education and training, particularly within clinical or dental fields, will be advantageous.
Languages
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required, with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
