Job Title: Business Systems Analyst, PLM

Reports to:  Technical Lead - PLT

Location:  Goleta, CA (remote position)

Your Impact:

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Serve as an information technology professional experienced in functional and technical aspects of PTC’s FlexPLM solution, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. Work within an Agile Scrum team charged with designing and building solutions that meet requirements of customer base composed of product development, product line management and regional merchandising teams. Work closely with in-house and contracted developer resources and engage regularly with technical resources working in other supply chain technology teams. Analyze ongoing user requirements and provide best-fit solutions while maintaining data and application integrity. Create technical specifications and work with Development team to deliver efficient solutions. Maintain clear documentation for systems integrations, configurations, customizations, and requirements. Perform Unit testing and collaborate with Quality Assurance.

SALARY: $133,806/year - The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Who You Are:

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in FlexPLM Software development

Skills/Competencies:

  • Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following
  • 5 years of experience with Product Development Processes including Line Sheet management, BOM (Bill of Materials) management, materials management, and sample management; 5 years of experience with design, analysis, configuration management, requirements gathering, testing, business process mapping, functional implementation, and support of FlexPLM modules; 5 years of experience developing with the following: Java, Javascript, JSP, SQL, XML, JSON, and Web Service Integrations (to include SOAP based and REST). 3 years of experience with version control software to include SVN or Git; and 3 years of experience with ANT build framework
  • Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
