Main Objective:

  • Providing integral support to the Accounting and Payroll Team by ensuring that payroll is processed timely and correctly.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in computing the payroll of each employee correctly while considering the Philippine mandatory government contributions and other statutory guidelines in place.
  • Expected to understand and account for any payroll variances and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that timekeeping data is dependable.
  • Ensure that payroll worksheets are prepared with utmost confidentiality and neatly, and produce timely reports for regular government remittances.
  • Expected to be updated on the latest matters affecting payroll computation of both entities and is conversant with existing policies and regulations.
  • Expected to be open to new roles and tasks which may be assigned to him/her.


Requirements


To be successful you must:

  • Candidate have at least 2 years of rigid working experience in the same capacity
  • Must demonstrate honestly and exude confidentiality
  • With thorough and reliable knowledge on how to do payroll computation in the Philippine setting using the current applicable policies
  • Knows how to properly maintain payroll reports and schedules
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Ability to work efficiently without close supervision and under time pressure


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Can interpret and apply new labor standards
  • Has an experience supporting internal and external audits
  • Strong verbal and written English skill
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet
