We are looking for an experienced Data Consultant to join our team for an exciting freelance opportunity with the potential for a more permanent and flexible arrangement over time. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients during the discovery and presales phases, providing valuable insights and technical guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled individual with strong experience in Microsoft Data Technologies and Data Science/Visualization.

Your Activities Will Include:

• Pre-sales & Discovery: Lead discussions with clients to understand their needs, guide them through the discovery phase, and support pre-sales activities.
• Consulting: Work closely with the client to define their data architecture and provide expert advice on solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Client Meetings: Participate in meetings with clients, presenting technical solutions and advising on the best approach to meet their data needs.
• Questions & Strategy: Proactively ask the right questions to uncover client pain points and ensure we deliver tailored solutions that will drive success.
• Project Delivery: Support the initial phase of the project on a freelance basis with the potential to transition to a part-time or permanent role as the project evolves.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in discovery, consulting, and pre-sales activities, particularly in the context of data-driven projects.
• You should hold certifications such as Azure Solution Architect Expert or similar Microsoft Data certifications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Data technologies like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Power BI, and other related tools.
• Strong understanding and practical experience in Data Science or Data Visualization.
• Ability to initially work on a freelance project, with a smooth transition into a more permanent or flexible part-time role, as needed.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage with clients effectively and lead strategic discussions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead projects independently while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English is required.
