Our software engineering team is expanding and adding a Quality Engineer II. Reporting to the Senior Engineering manager, in this role you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our products. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement testing strategies that enhance the quality of our applications. This role requires hands-on experience with automated and manual testing, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Location:

While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still in the process of establishing our company to support work in all states! We’ve recently made the shift from an in-office organization to a hybrid model and love the flexibility it allows our employees. We are set up to support employees who want to be fully remote, in-office only, and a mix of the two.

Please note - we will not be supporting work based out of the following states: California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey.

What You'll Do:
  • Embedded with a product development team crafting and maintaining test plans

  • Lead defects and advocate for quality

  • Plan, build, and complete automation of selenium and/or API tests using Javascript

  • Execute acceptance and exploratory testing

  • Participate in group testing activities if needed

  • Attend agile ceremonies

  • Identify testing gaps and implement tests for coverage

  • Perform investigative testing to assess the impact and root cause of issues

  • Become an authority in our products and how they function

What We're Looking For:

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks who have a strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 3+ years of quality engineering experience with sophisticated mobile or web applications and software systems

  • UI automation experience using Selenium

  • Solid understanding of Javascript

  • Strong understanding of & experience with Page Object Model

  • Self-starter / proven ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement

  • Ability to influence good quality practices A passion for testing and quality assurance

Experience that will Impress the Heck Out of Us:
  • API automation in JavaScript

  • CI/CD experience
