Tell me about the role!

We thought you’d never ask - we’re looking for an experienced UI Designer to join our team and help create unified and intuitive experience across our Learn, Perform and Engage products. While this role focuses on UI, you’ll also need a good grasp of user-focused design principles and an interest in UX as well as UI design fundamentals. You’ll craft visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products, ensuring a and seamless user experience in both web and mobile apps. Plus, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver top-notch software solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Your responsibilities include…

· Designing and creating visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications across our three core products

· Working with UX Designers to conduct user testing, develop wire frames, and test assumptions with customers

· Adhering to our common design language, system, and style guide across all platforms

· Maintaining and updating the design system as needed, while following the MS Fluent guidelines

· Creating prototypes and translating design concepts to communicate with stakeholders

· Collaborating with Engineers to understand technical implications that impact platform designs and finding innovative solutions to solve a variety of design problems

· Conducting UI audits and writing tickets for Engineers to ensure that the product build matches your designs

· Confidently discussing and defending design vision and logic with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders

· Conducting market research and exploration to gather inspiration for new UI designs that excite and delight the user

· Exploring ways to enhance our product in new and creative was (e.g. through the use of AI)

The team

You’ll be a part of the Product and Design Team working with fellow UX/UI Designers and Product Managers, and reporting to our Design Lead. Your colleagues are spread across our locations in Denmark, Romania, UK, Poland and the US, so if you enjoy working online with diverse teams, you’ll feel right at home.

Where is the job based?

This position is based in Warsaw, Poland with the flexibility to work remotely.

What skills or experience are we looking for?

For us, the most important thing is that you have a mindset characterized by curiosity, drive, and ambition. However, this specific role would be a great fit if you have:

· Minimum three years as an experienced UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work in both web and mobile

· Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout

· A passion and interest in meeting accessibility standards and solving design problems for different accessibility needs in creative ways

· Proficiency in design, wireframe and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar

· Strong interest in UX, not just UI, with a user-focused approach to design and a focus on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces

· Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

· Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product and Engineering

· Interest in conversational AI and utilizing AI in new ways to enhance our products and facilitate user feedback is a plus

· Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Enthusiasm and excitement to collaborate with others, share ideas, and bring a can-do mindset to the team

· Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
