About this team 
The Accounting Team at Super.com is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger, reporting applications, and related data warehouse tables while providing accurate and timely financial reports and analyses. The team consists of experienced professionals who support the Super.com’s short and long-term objectives through their accounting expertise.

About this role
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will support the Senior Accounting Manager in monitoring and maintaining our financial reporting processes. You will bring strong Excel skills, Data Analytics and a strong foundation in Finance & Accounting to the team, and will work on high-impact projects around month-end closes, deep dives into accounting subject matters and assist in year-end audit activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Whether you are someone who thrives on following tried and true processes or you are someone  who loves to re-imagine/ build accounting processes and is also interested in leveraging automation to make processes more efficient, you’ll find this role meaningful.

Responsibilities
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Complete assigned month-end tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to gather necessary financial data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Work with the FP&A team to assist in analyzing financial results and performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for external audits and provide necessary support during audit processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance and accounting functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining financial processes and systems.

  • Preferred Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role at a fast growing tech company, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting, including experience with either US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills, coupled with proficiency in Excel, including large data set manipulation.
  • Strong attention to detail and can be relied upon to provide thorough, well-reasoned and accurate results.
  • Able to work with a high degree of self-direction, along with the capability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate teamwork skills in a growing team.

  • Nice to Have
  • Experience working with ERP accounting software. Netsuite experience is a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Periscope, Looker and Tableau is preferred, with working knowledge of SQL.
  • CPA or demonstrated interest in obtaining the designation
