Job Summary:

Participating in the design, development and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Create test cases based of business requirements
Executing manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality
Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects and bugs
Participating in root cause analysis of defects
Ability to manage your testing tasks and adjust as needed
Make and/or implementation recommendations to improve overall testing

Responsibilities:

Implement repeatable and automated processes for manual testing
Works with cross-functional teams to share ideas on quality issues and solutions
Works with development and product teams to understand product and software requirements
Communicating testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders
Providing information for Go / no go recommendations
Assisting in the design and implementation of test automation processes and tools
Providing support for ongoing testing and quality activities.
Adhering to company policies and standards such as QA exit criteria, SOC 2
Adhere to and modeling Majesco core values

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Five or more years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps
Experience with software testing tools and methodologies, such as manual testing, automated, performance and security testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze complex information and data to identify trends and potential problems
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience with test case design and maintenance
Understanding of software quality and security standards
