We are seeking an experienced SmartStream Developer with expertise in Cash & Liquidity Management to support and enhance the TLM (Trade Lifecycle Management) product that client currently utilizes. This is a unique, niche product and the ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SmartStream solutions, with the capability to handle an ongoing portfolio of work and smaller projects to continuously improve the product. As part of the team, you will work directly with the product and operations team to manage and implement enhancements to the Cash & Liquidity Management system, ensuring it aligns with client’s business needs and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and Maintain Product: Regularly enhance and provide support for the Cash & Liquidity Management product from SmartStream, focusing on its optimization and stability within the organization’s ecosystem.
Ongoing Portfolio/Small Projects: Manage and execute a portfolio of ongoing tasks and projects on an expense/project basis to improve and tailor the product to the evolving requirements of client.
Customization & Integration: Work on customizing the SmartStream TLM system to meet client's specific business needs and integrate with other back-office systems as required.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, implement improvements, and ensure seamless operations.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the SME for SmartStream solutions, particularly in Cash & Liquidity Management, providing advice, technical leadership, and guidance to the team as required.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvements and optimization initiatives for the product, ensuring continuous value delivery to client.
Skills & Experience:
SmartStream TLM: Proven hands-on experience with SmartStream's TLM (Trade Lifecycle Management) product, specifically in the context of Cash & Liquidity Management.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in the SmartStream technology stack, including system configuration, customizations, and integrations.
Development: Experience in development and support of SmartStream TLM applications and tools, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational objectives.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve product and system issues.
Project Management: Experience in handling ongoing projects or small work packages, with the ability to manage time effectively and deliver results on schedule.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience working with SmartStream TLM, particularly in Cash & Liquidity Management.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with relevant technologies, frameworks, and tools associated with SmartStream implementations and support.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams, understanding and addressing both business and technical requirements.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Banking/Finance industry processes, particularly in Corporate Investment Banking.
Knowledge of other back-office banking applications and tools
