About the Role (your why)

In your role as Endpoint Compliance Engineer, you will be part of our extensive Intelligent Workspace business line, who support each other working collaboratively across various Datacom and client locations throughout all of Australia.
As Endpoint Compliance Engineer, you will provide endpoint vulnerability management and risk mitigation services to our managed customer base. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing automated monthly patching of operating systems and Tier 0 and 1 application security patching, advanced desktop and application analytics, antivirus console management and distribution of AV signatures to endpoints.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!
What you’ll do

What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with 5 years plus experience in the IT industry, preferably within an IT outsourced environment. You will bring advanced End User Support experience, a desire to learn, and an exceptional work ethic. You will have strong troubleshooting and customer service skills and be able to work autonomously.
You will ideally have knowledge of hardware and software vendors support processes, including product lifecycles and experience with SCCM, Intune, Windows 7, 8 and 10. You have had exposure to a range of AV tools and consoles and a deep understanding of the ASD “Essential 8” and endpoint security mitigation approaches.
