About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating government contracts and subcontracts to manage and enhance our government contracting processes. This critical role supports our mission by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and optimizing the drafting, negotiation, and administration of contracts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in government contracts, particularly with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and California state agency contracts.

  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including implementation, monitoring, amendments, and closeout, while maintaining a comprehensive repository of contract records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to FAR, CFR, and other relevant regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory requirements, including California-specific contracting processes and compliance obligations.
  • Partner with program, finance, and legal teams to ensure contract terms support programmatic and financial objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for government agencies, resolving contract-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Evaluate existing contract management practices and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed of changes in contracting regulations and ensure the organization remains compliant with updated requirements. Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance and address any gaps.

  • What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, law, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in government contract and subcontract management, with expertise in federal compliance (FAR, CFR).
  • Experience with California state agency contracts is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage complex agreements.
  • Proficiency in contract management software is a plus
