Director, Solutions Management

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Lifecycle Solutions Management to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more of our Lifecycle Solutions. This role is pivotal in aligning UDT’s Lifecycle offerings with customer needs, driving innovation, and optimizing go-to-market strategies. You will work cross-functionally with business development, product development, marketing, operations and others to leverage market insights, enhance our competitive edge and ensure the delivery of exceptional service experiences.

  • Product-Market Fit
    • Ensure the solution aligns with market needs, solving real customer problems better than competitors.
    • Validate product-market fit through user feedback, testing, and adoption metrics.
  • Solution Roadmap and Vision
    • Develop and maintain a clear, strategic product roadmap that aligns with the company’s goals.
    • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, customer needs, and resource constraints.
  • Stakeholder Alignment
    • Communicate solution vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Balance the needs and expectations of customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Leverage analytics and metrics guide solution strategy and measure success.
    • Use data to identify issues, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
    • Iterate on products to enhance usability, performance, and value over time.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential risks in product development or market adoption and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, or best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Insight: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the overall strategy and roadmap for our Lifecycle Services solutions, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Solution Management: Oversee the integration of our software and operational processes, ensuring seamless delivery of our Lifecycle Services to commercial and/or education clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, product owners, operations, and sales teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs and are scalable, efficient, and competitive.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within the solution delivery process, enhancing service quality, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a point of escalation for key customer issues, working to resolve complex challenges and enhance the overall client experience.
  • KPI Development: Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of our solutions, driving continuous improvement and reporting on progress to senior leadership.
  • Training & Enablement: Develop training materials and conduct internal workshops to ensure that the sales and support teams are well-equipped to communicate and deliver our solutions effectively.
  • SKU Catalog: Own and manage the SKU catalog associated with our Lifecycle Services solution(s).

Education, Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on solutions or services in a technology-driven industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex solutions that integrate software and operational services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
  • Ability to develop and execute product or solution strategies that drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the education or commercial technology sector is a plus.
