Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, The Director, IT Procurement & Vendor Relationships is responsible for building, developing and maintaining global vendor relationships that support optimal outcomes for both Corporate and OpCo IT Organizations. You will have the opportunity to build and develop skills including leading global, cross-functional teams through complex software, telecommunications, hardware and professional service engagements. You will also be on the forefront of technology shifts in a constantly changing global landscape.

 

This position is part of the Corporate Information Technology department and will be REMOTE optional attached to Veralto Corporate HQ of Waltham, MA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Build, develop and manage complex vendor relationships
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-OpCo teams through a wide range of technology related vendor engagements
  • Provide strategic oversight of global vendor relationships and procurement strategies.
  • Mentor a team of procurement managers and specialists across Veralto. Comfortable in a “player / coach” capacity, this is a hands-on role.
  • Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Drive innovation in procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Influence purchasing decisions that impact the entire portfolio of OpCo’s
  • Directly impact Core Value Drivers such as Working Capital Turnover and Operating Margin Expansion through the use of Price, Process and Behavior methodologies
  • Work directly with a highly talented and diverse group of global colleagues 

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or related field of study
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Vendor Management experience 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams through technology related vendor evaluation, selection, and contracting projects
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time (primarily domestic with up to 3 international trips per year)
  • Must have demonstrated experience negotiating complex, global agreements with large, multi-national suppliers (Ex. Microsoft, Workday, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, Dell), including cybersecurity and data privacy requirements for organizations over $3Bn(USD) top line revenues
  • Proficiency with data analytics, executive presentation and communication and project management to support overall procurement and vendor management goals

 It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business
  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within procurement functions

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
