Job Description
Responsibilities
Organization of an effective search for new suppliers in accordance with priorities and the development of competition within categories as part of the procurement policy.
Interaction with key suppliers, conducting negotiations, and signing contracts in alignment with company objectives.
Ensuring suppliers' compliance with agreed cooperation terms, monitoring supplier-related risks within the approved procurement policy, and managing deviations.
Gathering information from suppliers regarding product manufacturing, quality and safety requirements, and market analysis.
Risk management, collaboration with the quality control department and legal service, and ensuring supplier compliance with standards.
Implementation of the division's strategic objectives.
Organization and maintenance of up-to-date databases on commercial and logistical terms of cooperation with suppliers.
Improvement of commercial cooperation terms with key suppliers.
Implementation of best practices and development of professional skills for employees responsible for supplier interactions.
Performance criteria
ROI (Return on Investment) on additional Private brands margin (compared to the average profitability of the category excluding Private brands goods).
Effectiveness of the Annual Vendor Negotiating campaign, actual improvement in commercial conditions with suppliers.
Ensuring that the Target assortment matrix has offerings that meet commercial objectives
Private brands Product sales, Gross margin, and Product profit, as a general KPI of the business unit.
Share of Private brands in sales and Product profit of Autodoc sales (%), as a general KPI of the business unit.
Job Requirements & Skills
Experience & Expertise:
7 - 9 years of experience in procurement, supplier management or category management.
Strong background in suppliers sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
Experience in ensuring supplier compliance with procurement policies and risk management.
Knowledge of product manufacturing processes, quality and safety requirements, and market analysis.
Proven ability to improve commercial cooperation terms and optimize supplier relationships.
Strategic & Analytical Skills:
Ability to develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market trends.
Experience in maintaining and managing commercial and logistical databases.
Expertise in risk management and deviation handling within procurement policies.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster supplier collaboration.
Ability to implement best practices and develop professional skills within the team.
Technical & Soft Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
Good verbal and written Russian, English proficiency level C1 or higher.
Chinese (HSK 3 or higher) is an advantage.
Advanced Excel / Google sheets user.
