We are looking for a Data Control Manager. This is an exciting new opportunity to join our team.

RECONNECT aims to address the health inequalities experienced by those released from prison. The service starts working with people before they leave prison and continues with this work post release when in the community. Our clients have access to a RECONNECT worker who helps them to make the transition to community-based services that will provide the health and care support that they need. RECONNECT service was first announced in the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) and is the biggest new investment in Health and Justice services for the past six years.

What you will be doing?:

The Data Control Manager (DCM) is responsible for managing the administration support for our contracts along with being the lead for coordinating the Payment by Results data for the local Commissioner and data for the Public Health England (PHE), the Drug Treatment Monitoring Unit (DTMU) and Forward’s research team.

 

Services are designed to deliver a range of interventions, programmes, workshops, advice and guidance for our clients.The DCM will provide support to all Forward administration teams within their area to help ensure qualitative data is reported in a timely manner to all key stakeholders.

 

The DCM will be responsible for implementing new admin systems and procedures across the area and the recruitment, line management and delivery of supervision sessions of Administration Officers/Senior Administration Officers/Data Administrators (AO’s/Senior AO’s/DA).

What we are looking for?:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • An intermediate to advanced certification or demonstrable experience in Microsoft packages.
  • Experience and confidence in using Nebula, R&M, SystmOne, Data Entry Tool (DET), DAMs and C-Nomis or equivalent systems.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience of providing administrative support within a large team, demonstrating ability to work in a pressured environment.
  • Strong experience working with large datasets preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing employees and leading teams, including recruitment, supervision and training.
  • Experience of accurately collating statistical information, with an attention to detail and report writing.
  • Experience of developing, implementing or maintaining large databases and managing administrative tasks associated with them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with people of all levels and to work on own initiative in preparing correspondence.

 

Qualifications

A level 5 management qualification, or the willingness to work towards.
