The HR Operations Specialist (International) is responsible for providing operational support to the HR Manager as well as developing and facilitating initiatives to help create a collaborative and inclusive office environment/company culture.

This includes supporting various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel based on KnowBe4’s established company goals and objectives. In addition, the ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach in assisting the HR Manager managing day-to-day HR issues by acting as a contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR policies and employee related questions when the HR Manager is absent.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and implementing robust HR policies, procedures and processes in line with KnowBe4’s culture and core values, including the development of the employee handbook 
  • Provide operative and administrative support to the Director of People Operations throughout the employee lifecycle in a confidential and sensitive manner (e.g. but not limited to  on- and offboardings, employee relations matters including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, leaves, absence, retirement and redundancy)
  • Assist the Director of People Operations in managing compliance requirements with regards to employee contracts, bonuses, pensions and related matters.
  • Assist in handling time off requests for holidays, illness and other types of leave
  • Assist the Director of People Operations with benefits administration, selection and coordination with vendors
  • Handling of logistical office needs including ordering of supplies, dealing with vendors and greeting visitors 
  • Coordinate on-boarding for new employees
  • Manage the budget allocated for the office ensuring that we are within budget for all culture/office spend
  • Assist the DoPO/POM in the execution of HR projects
  • Come up with creative ideas to keep the company culture alive
  • Coordinate cross-functional events, end of month lunch/dinners, staff birthdays, shipping employee goodies etc. 
  • Partner with our US-based Culture team to ensure alignment with culture objectives
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of local diversity initiatives
  • Support with HR projects when needed

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
  •  Experience within HR Operations desired
  • Strong administration skills
  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer focused attitude 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Resourceful and proactive
  • Willing to go the extra mile 
  • Very familiar with computers; Macbooks are a plus.
