BASIC FUNCTION 
Consistently grows company revenue through a targeted focus on accounts related to the water & wastewater industry.  Maximizes gross margins by identifying and prioritizing business opportunities, and by collaborating with the sales team to sell a wide variety of specified products and solutions.  Utilizes available resources, sales expertise, and product knowledge to facilitate the success of the sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Meets or exceeds established corporate sales and gross margin dollar goals in defined water & wastewater accounts
•Evaluates water & wastewater business potential nationally, within regions and territories, to ensure the sales teams are focused on the highest potential accounts and opportunities
•Develops and updates written market plans and forecasts consistent with RHFS planning and forecast process
•Lead efforts to develop enhance Product offering to serve water/waste market
•Allocates majority of time to develop new/existing business through the sales teams using a targeted approach, which includes joint sales calls, product training, and technical support 
•Regularly communicates with sales teams, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and other team members on market strategy progress, leading measure performance to goals, problem resolution, and sharing successes
•Supports a positive, enthusiastic team approach to sales
•Continually improves upon technical product/sales skills and market/application knowledge
•Understands market dynamics and keeps abreast of current industry economic developments through participation in industry organizations
•Maintains a high degree of professionalism at all times 
•Develops and maintains relationships with key executives and decision makers at large target accounts
•All other duties as assigned by RHFS leadership

QUALIFICATIONS
•Organized, hardworking, and willing to put in effort necessary to achieve objectives
•Self-starter, takes initiative, and makes things happen
•Able to take criticism well, coachable; follows directions and meets deadlines
•Team player - able to lead Market Segment efforts while supporting the direction of the company
•Excellent communication (written, verbal and non-verbal) with good follow-up skills
•Goal oriented; successful track record in previous employment or assignments
•Delegates effectively to maximize Market expansion
•Experience with water & wastewater systems across semiconductor, industrial, food and beverage, life science, municipal water and wastewater industries
•Experience with mechanical systems, electronics, hydraulics preferred
•3-5 years Water and/or Waste experience required
•Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering Degree is a plus 
•Up to 50% travel by air or ground transportation is required

REQUIRED SKILLS
•Able to effectively communicate with a variety of personality types
•Capable of working with cross-functional teams and through indirect reports
•Analytical, perceptive and empathetic
•Logical problem-solving capability
•Working familiarity with IBM computer systems and Microsoft Office software 
•Tenacious, enthusiastic spirit and works well through others
•Basic mathematics aptitude necessary (decimals, fractions, algebra)
