What you'll do:

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing websites while ensuring they are technically sound, fast, and aligned with the latest SEO and UX best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about web development, website performance, and providing high-quality technical support.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Google Tag Manager Setup, Implementation & Troubleshooting:
  • Set up and manage Google Tag Manager across various websites, implementing tags, triggers, and variables, and resolving any related issues that arise.
    
• Schema Markup:
  • Implement schema markup to improve SEO performance and enhance search engine results visibility.
    
• Website Performance and Speed Optimization:
  • Improve website loading speed and overall performance through technical improvements, including optimizing images, caching, and code minification.
    
• SEO Technical Implementation:
  • Implement technical SEO elements, such as meta tags, sitemaps, and robots.txt files, to improve search engine rankings and website visibility.
    
• Content Optimization & Blog Management:
  • Implement content optimizations for pages to improve SEO and user experience. Regularly upload and manage blog posts, ensuring content is properly formatted and optimized.
    
• Landing Page Development:
  • Build and update new landing pages within existing websites, ensuring they are optimized for conversions and aligned with the brand's design principles.
    
• Platform Expertise:
  • Work with WordPress and Shopify to manage content and build custom solutions. Customize themes, implement plugins, and optimize e-commerce functionality.
    
• Front-End Development:
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop responsive, user-friendly websites. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
    
• ACF (Advanced Custom Fields):
  • Implement and manage ACF for custom content types and fields in WordPress, ensuring dynamic and flexible website functionality.
    
• WordPress Website Updates:
  • Follow best practices for updating WordPress websites, including maintaining plugin compatibility, managing site security, and applying updates.
    
• Troubleshooting Technical Issues:
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, performance, and design, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless user experience.

Successful candidates must have:

• Has 3 to 5 years of work experience in web development or related field.
• Proven experience with WordPress, Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ACF.
• Strong experience with Google Tag Manager, including setup, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, technical SEO implementation, and schema markup.
• Expertise in website performance and speed optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience in building and maintaining landing pages and optimizing content for SEO.
• Familiarity with website security best practices and plugin updates for WordPress.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have skills:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify & WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with other CMS platforms or web development frameworks.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and how they apply to web development.
• Knowledge of version control (Git, Bitbucket etc.).
• Knowledge of Node JS & NPM.
• Knowledge of working with REST API, SOAP, GraphQL.

Work Arrangements:

• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
• Work Setup: Permanent Work-from-Home
