The role

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages, we’d like to meet you.

Daily tasks:

Collaboration in development, testing and supporting activities.
Overseeing product development, integration of SCADA data with business applications.
Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
Integrate software components and third-party programs.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Gather and evaluate user feedback
Recommend and execute improvements
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

Background in software projects: develop, configure, testing and database administrator.
Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks: JAVA, Python, HTML, Javascript, React, Angular, WebServices (SOAP, API Rest), Spring framework, JPA.
OPC communication in industrial environment
Port/terminal experience / background or general understanding.
Experience with SCADA systems, Ignition
Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Azure.
Fluency in English and Spanish
Interest in modern system architectures like event-based architecture, domain-driven design, microservices etc.
