POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Technical Marketing Manager is in charge of defining and driving our Protection & Filtering and Zener Diodes portfolio (R71) into his regional market. In this role, he is responsible to analyze and understand customer and reference design partner needs and potentials and to work out the ideal promotion to maximize design-in (QSAM) for the released Protection Portfolio (SAM).
He supports the business planning & execution process in driving the quarterly rolling financial forecast (RFF) process for the market segments/customers in his region and driving the regional sales team to execute against the RFF plan.
He also supports the Protection product management team in the roadmapping process by identifying portfolio gaps in the Protection business (TAM to SAM gaps), identifying the key roadmap drivers at our customers / reference design partners, connecting and linking them to our product management experts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive business creation by promoting our focus technologies
Take ownership for our focus promotion programs, define their value proposition and drive them to success in his regional market
Identify the right measures to push our products in the market, including finding adjacent markets, potential customers and value chain partners (reference design developer and manufacturer)
Develop, organize and lead marketing campaigns to push portfolio into the market for instance based on identified application trends
Build up a global network based on our regional sales teams to regularly discuss market and customer developments
Support definition of future global focus promotion programs by proposing products and product families best suited for his regional market (driven by customer and application needs), proposing his regional market sales and design-in/design-win targets and aligning those targets with his regional account teams
Define and deploy go-to-market strategies for his regional market
Define and implement segment- and/or application specific go-to-market strategies that will deliver concrete results with respect to market share and opportunity conversion in the design funnel
Gain insights on key market players: understand competitor dynamics and tactics, and the requirements of Protection customers, applications and reference design developers and manufacturers
Support R71 Business Fulfillment Team to drive the quarterly rolling financial FC (RFF) process in his region
Support regional sales force to execute against R71 RFF
Provide analysis on the success of our portfolio (e.g. per segment, application, product families) and identify and share additional design opportunities
Support identification and evaluation of white spots and roadmap requirements to increase our Sales Available Market (SAM)
Leading role in defining and creating business case inputs and customer requirement specifications to support future SAM growth
SKILLS /COMPETENCIES
Hard Skills:
Marketing tools and methodologies
Preferably semiconductor device physics and electrical engineering knowledge
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including EXCEL, PowerPoint
Fluent in English
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English
Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach
Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
Strong customer focus and service orientation

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Marketing
Minimum 5 years of working experience as a marketeer or application engineer preferably in or with exposure to the semiconductor industry or consumer electronics end-equipment industry
